Six Foundational Beliefs

6 Foundational Beliefs to guide us in "Helping Every Child Discover God's Ideal"

Core Foundational Beliefs:

  1. We believe that Christ calls us to place him first.

This means that we are committed to crafting (and protecting) an exceptional campus culture and academic program that places Christ at the center of everything we do. Our students learn to carry themselves with integrity, compassion, and honor as they grow into the character of Christ.

  1. We believe that Christ calls us to become our best selves in Him.

This means that our programs focus on developing exceptional first principle personal skills, habits, and attitudes that will last a lifetime. Our students learn to approach life with confidence, with patterns of effective learning, and with creativity and clear thinking.

Here's what we mean by translatable, first principle type skills:

•             Learning as a skill - "learning to learn" - and life-long curiosity

•             Clear thinking

•             Creativity

•             Problem Solving

•             Resilience

•             Psychology/attitudes/beliefs of success

•             The power of relationships/teamwork

•             Communication

•             Prioritizing/goal setting

•             Discipline

  1. We believe that Christ calls us to always do our best.

This means that we are committed to exceptional core academics. Our students are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to achieve exceptional success in both standardized testing and their future endeavors upon graduation.

Our extra-curricular programs are designed to help students learn to put forth their best effort in whatever they pursue by focusing on efficient and effective mastery of                             fundamentals as the marker of success.

Supporting Foundational Beliefs:

  1. We believe that Christ calls us to support community.

This means that we have a special commitment to strengthening families. We work closely with our families to map out a path towards finding God's ideal for every student. We welcome and encourage parental involvement in school activities. And we recognize that school is just one leg of a triangle of support that includes the church community and home.

  1. We believe that Christ calls us to service.

This means that our programs encourage students to find ways to utilize their talents and skills to better God's kingdom, both here on earth and for eternity. We are specifically focused on helping students develop patterns of service that will last a lifetime.

  1. We believe that Christ calls us to abundance and balance.

This means that our programs focus on providing students with balanced opportunity to experience the abundance of life. Our students can be involved in the whole spectrum of extra-curricular opportunities without sacrifice. Our programs are designed to foster healthy habits that will last a lifetime.
